I am a photographer and the founder of Popup studio Collective. I am Icelandic but living and working in the UK. My background is in fashion, lifestyle and fine art photography.
I have always been drawn to light and the quiet, painterly quality of the Dutch master and am passionate about bringing a sense of old grandeur back into contemporary photography.
After working across fashion, travel and fine art, I founded Popup Studio Collective to carry that vision into portraiture — hopefully curating a team of photographers, stylists and makeup artists to create thoughtful, composed images that feel both timeless and alive.
I hold a Master’s degree in Photography from San Francisco and am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Cultural and Art Management at a university in Iceland.
I have exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and in galleries across London. My work is held in private collections across Europe, North America, and Australia, and has appeared in publications including Gestalten, The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and Condé Nast Traveller among many others.
